Aww, I am sure Delia will do fine at volleyball! If I were closer I'd totally offer to come practice with her, I love seeing kids get into it early (most places don't have it until 6th or 7th grade at the earliest).

I hope Scott's father continues improving, and I'm sorry it'll be a smaller Thanksgiving than usual. It's often just 3 for Thanksgiving at my place, and this year it's 2, so we plan for things-that-make-good-leftovers. Veggie-wise, green beans with a little oil&garlic and some almonds are good reheated or cold the next day, and carrots in honey warm up very nicely too.
