I very much approve of the change. I don't know how much it will help given that the August primary is just at a kind of terrible time of year. I've missed it a couple of times because of last minute family plans-- One time, my sister told me on a Friday that she and her son would be coming to Michigan on Sunday and driving me and Cordelia up to visit our grandmother and stay in a rental cottage that was already paid for.

I didn't realize that I was going to miss that election until we were already in East Tawas.
