It is the video streaming and podcasts that will be draining the data. That is why so many 'free' wifi set ups on things like bus services or open zones in Scotland don't allow you to stream when using theirs. I hope Scott finds a way to make it work as there are many solutions with downloading on wifi to listen later and so on but...folk set in their habits as you say.
