Yeah, I finally put a pair of earplugs in a tiny plastic bag in my purse, so that they are with me when I want them. Otherwise I never remember to pack them. Though also I discovered that a lot of the local auditoriums (eg. Hill Auditorium, and The Ark) have earplugs available free for the asking. I'd had no idea, and had suffered through painfully loud music at concerts without having had any idea that relief was so easily available.
