I suppose Amazon is an option, but, given the holiday, it wouldn't get us anything very soon. I'm also not sure we need much that's non-perishable. We need bread and meat and bananas and frozen green beans and eggs and...

I suppose ramen would work that way. I'd just feel silly paying shipping for stuff that costs thirty cents a packet in the grocery store.

I'm hoping that Scott will sleep better tonight (though I'm not very optimistic given how he's been coughing). He says he's going to shop tomorrow.

We have one local friend who would probably be willing to shop for us, but she's vegetarian, and a good chunk of what we need it meat. I can't ask her to touch that. She and all of her kids also have celiac, and she doesn't want to have anything containing gluten in her car (which seems pretty reasonable to me under the circumstances). So I could have her get the eggs, the green beans, and the bananas, I guess.

But Scott would still have to shop for the other stuff before we can eat dinner tomorrow.
