The oncologist told me that the intensity of the hot flashes varies a lot from person to person. So far, fingers crossed, I'm not doing too badly. I do want the overhead fan going at night, but even without it, I can mostly manage.

And menopause might arrive for me any time. I'm 48, so it's on the horizon. I'm not sure when my mother went through it. I suppose I should ask her.
