I'm not sure if Amber would be on the list if I hadn't played and run Amber based games for years and years, but I can't stop spinning off ideas now. Right now, I'm playing with the idea that shapeshifters might not have gender in the same way that folks from Amber do. The major hurdle is that Merlin not seeing himself as only or necessarily male is majorly messing with his voice as I write.

I've written three Amber fics (two for Yuletide), and I have two story fragments that I hope to complete some day.
