I have liked everything of Martha Wells' that I've tried except for the SGA tie in novels. I think the tie in novels suffered from me comparing them to fanfic which has vastly more freedom to play and to change things.

Wells is on LJ, marthawells, and she's probably talked about the anthologies there. I only started following her recently, so I'm not sure.
