I can't get over how complicated it is being a parent/kid in school these days. Having to apply for a high school is such a far out there concept for me. I feel for you!

And I agree on the college curriculum. Unless she's going to teach something always required, like math, science, or English, I would imagine she'd need the flexibility. When I was in school to be a social science teacher I was required to have a major, and three minors, plus the teaching minor, so I could teach four subjects.
