My dad was born in Hulbert, and moved to Quapaw; my mother grew up in Miami. Most of my relatives are in or around Talequah or Norman, although weirdly it seems like once every other generation one of us moves to California, which would be me this time. (My grandmother's twin sister lived here way back when.)

I like being able to say town names and not be looked at like I'm making up words. ;-)
