When I look at it from the outside, nineteen years seems like a long time. It just doesn't seem like that long ago that we got married. Being married feels like the normal state for us.
As it turns out, Scott doesn't have to work tonight. He exhausted from pulling carts all day, but he's on his way home now. Unfortunately, whatever we do tonight will have Delia along. We don't have anybody to babysit her. Maybe later this summer we'll get an evening to ourselves.
