If my memory serves, when I had to take Prednisone nearly a year ago, after the one and only time I had to have a hospital breathing treatment form asthma/bronchitis, the prescription info said you were more susceptible to infection for a year after taking it. I don't have the insert anymore, but I remember being shocked at that, which is why I remember at all.
