I slept on the loveseat again last night. I think that the sinus issue might let me sleep in bed again, but when I lie down, I cough and cough and simply can’t stop. If I’m upright, I cough occasionally but mostly don’t. I didn’t sleep as well last night as I did the night before. For one thing, I didn’t think, when I set the timer on the dishwasher, about the fact that I’d be trying to sleep about fifteen feet away from it. For another thing, my right ankle started hurting (I can stand on it and walk on it with no trouble), and I couldn’t find a position for that leg that didn’t strain it.
The Books By Chance woman wants to pick up the boxes tomorrow. That means I have to label the last few. I’ve been putting it off because it’s likely to tire me out, but I should be able to manage. It’ll be really nice to have the dratted things gone.
My big accomplishment for yesterday was loading the dishwasher. That took about all the oomph I had. I wanted to spend the day watching mindless stuff from Netflix, but Scott has been trying to download XCom 2 since some time on Thursday. I think he’s probably done by now— Last night, when we went to bed, it supposedly only had two hours left to run.
I started and gave up on three different library DVDs this week. One of them, I might try getting again when I’m feeling better. The other two were just not appealing to me. Scott and I ended up watching a Phineas and Ferb DVD because I wanted something fluffy and undemanding.
All of the things on my to-do list for today are things I ought to be able to do. I’m going to have to prioritize, however, because I’m not convinced that I can do all of them. Baking bread (bread machine), showering, and labeling boxes are the things that can’t be put off until tomorrow.
Scott is very cranky right at the moment. He and Cordelia are supposed to drive up to Brighton to meet Scott’s sister and her family for lunch, and he hasn’t been able to find any of the things he needs as quickly as he thinks he ought to.
