::grumbles:: I decided to look into Mountain Lion (the Mac OS that I need) myself. It costs all of $20. Scott's been looking for the CDs for months now, and he's now come up with a scheme to see if an old hard drive he removed from his laptop way back when has Mountain Lion on it and, if it does, if there's a way to port it from that drive to my current drive. I think all of this fuss over $20 is... excessive. I think I'm just going to ignore Scott and buy the damned thing. Yes, it'll be us paying for it twice, but at least I'll have the stupid thing and be able to go on from there.
I wonder what OS Cordelis is running. We probably should find out.

So I'm stuck buying in steps. Well, maybe Scott will be able to find the CDs for the other OS's between Mountain Lion and Yosemite. Though I'm not sure he actually bought all of them on CD as Apple doesn't seem to do that any more.
