(no subject)

I’m looking for someone who’s willing to act as a sounding board while I’m planning the Amber diceless scenario I’m going to run at the local game convention in November. I need to make some plot decisions before I go forward, but I’ve been feeling mentally paralyzed over it.

I don’t think I need someone who knows the game system so much as I need someone who knows Zelazny’s novels and who has experience with GMing short games. I’ve tried talking to Scott, but he just kind of looks at me blankly.

Anybody willing?

I would help you if any of those things were true of me. *hugs*

Which novels? I tend to run right alongside the rest of the fandom in preferring the first five novels, but I think you tend to prefer the latter five instead, which I don't know as well.

If you're still looking for someone, I can take a look.

Given I live in the UK, email and/or Gdocs would be best. I have a gmail account that is also Tamoline.

I wouldn't try and pin it down too much, especially in Amber. Depending on the scenario, have a start, have an understanding of what elements of the setting the PCs are likely to interact with, and preferably have some ideas about how you can control the pace. (Mainly how you can quickly bring things to a head if the PCs have farted around a lot, but some ideas about how you can extend things if they're dashing towards the resolution a bit too quickly is also good.)
