I'm still draggingly tired, but at least today I know why. I'm taking pain killers for muscle cramps in my right leg. I've been avoiding taking anything before now and just hoping that things would improve, but I have a lot of walking to do today.

I got Cordelia to camp on time. She even had a decent breakfast first. I had to nag a lot to get her moving, but I now know that forty-five minutes is long enough to get her up, dressed and fed.

The walk home was not fun, but I survived it. I think the morning part of things will be easier than the afternoon as it will still be early enough to be a little cool (comparatively). Today, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we won't get rained on. The hill is misery in the rain, and my shoes are only vaguely waterproof. I suppose, looking at the forecast, that I'll be hoping that most of the week.

I'm leaving open the possibility that Cordelia and I will sit at the science center and wait for Scott to get home. If he gets off work on time, we shouldn't end up waiting more than an hour. We just can't predict whether or not he'll get off work on time. Another option, if it's hot and sunny, is to walk to C.'s to use the pool. Her apartment complex is at the bottom of the hill. I don't think I'll take the second option unless I'm both feeling well and really need it. Keeping up with Cordelia in the water is a challenge, especially now that she's willing to go in over her head.

I'll find out when we get home whether or not Cordelia actually ate her lunch. Packing for her was difficult because she won't eat sandwiches. She said she'd eat lunchmeat if I packed it without bread, so I've frozen five packets with two decent sized slices each. Starting frozen should be enough, with the insulated bag and the cold pack, to keep it safe to eat. I also put in grapes, a fruit bar, a muffin and a treat (gummi fruit snacks). I feel like that wasn't enough, but I know she probably won't eat all of it. I considered crackers with hummos or sunflower seed butter, but I'm afraid those would get pulverized.

I'm viewing the lunches this week as a practice run for school. I need to figure out what she will eat and how much of it. Unfortunately, she seems to take after me in terms of getting bored with foods. Scott can eat the same meal over and over. I can't. Cordelia can't. Of course, Cordelia also complains about most of the food we offer her anyway.
