I *think* the novel has the same title, but if it doesn't, Miss Pettigrew is definitely part of it. (The title of the book, that is.)
I don't know what was up with the script. The problems were precisely the kind of thing that bug me; if the writer had taken just a little more care, it might have been more coherent! Anyway, I'm planning to reread the Earthsea books now, so at least some good has come out of it! :)
