I now have three stories in the Chocolate Box 2018 collection, two treats and a pinch hit (that could be filled by a treat I'd already written). I'm pretty sure that every single person who reads the pinch hit will know that it's mine, but who knows? I could be completely wrong. The two treats are much less obviously mine. Well, and also are in fandoms that I don't generally write.

I haven't managed to start my Worldbuilding Exchange story yet. That's on the agenda for tomorrow after I do the paperwork I've been putting off since Wednesday. The paperwork will only take about fifteen minutes. I just keep not starting. I think, after I post this, I'll go and find a black pen so that I can't use not having one as an excuse tomorrow.

Scott's working tomorrow, and I really wish he weren't. The weather is supposed to be nasty again. Today's weather wasn't great for driving (though not as bad as Friday's), but tomorrow is supposed to be worse.

Cordelia's expecting to get together with friends tomorrow afternoon, but we don't know yet if that will be happening here or not. The other girl who might host hasn't been answering texts at all today. I really would like to know tonight, but there's not much I can do. Mainly, it matters for whether or not I bother moving my laptop into the living room or not.

We're trying to figure out scheduling for family birthday celebrations for our nephew and for Scott. It turns out that Scott's parents are leaving the day after Scott's birthday (and well before our nephew's), so next weekend is the only time for everybody. Except that our nephew probably won't be there because he's a college freshman and came home this weekend. Scott's sister has plans both evenings, and her husband has a model train show both days. I can't eat after 6 p.m., and... Yeah.

I just want to know which weekend day in March would be okay for scheduling a write in at our house.

Scott has applied for a promotion at work again. This time, his new supervisor spent time with him to talk about the person he'll be interviewing with and what the interviewer likes and doesn't like. The old supervisor wanted Scott promoted but wasn't actually capable of doing anything people related well and so didn't do anything even half as useful.

The interviews haven't been scheduled yet, but Scott was the second choice out of a broad field the last time this position was open, so he should at least get an interview. Right now, Scott's emailing back and forth with his supervisor to get more information about the guy who'll make the decision.
