It was a relief to have it over. I don't use the big guns often, in terms of medication, but the Science Olympiad is definitely an occasion for it. They said there were more than 2000 kids participating, and each of those kids had at least one adult attached.
At least this year, I wasn't a coach. Coaching is an added stress because I can't help feeling responsible for how well or poorly the kids do. Unfortunately, apart from announcing the top five teams, they don't reveal how the kids do. That makes figuring out how to improve the coaching hard.
