I am very fond of The Rook (and its sequel, Stiletto, which is all there is so far).
But I'm not sure I'd be willing to tackle it as a 17-hour audiobook without having read it first. But I'm a bit weird in that I listen to audiobooks mostly when I'm driving, so in limited chunks of time. Because of that, I tend to prefer audiobooks of books I've already read at least once.
