These five were all written as treats for Writing Rainbow: Orange and include 1 Librarians story, 1 Naruto story, 1 Star Wars story, and 2 Weiss Kreuz stories.
Title: Memories in Orange Shadow
Fandom: The Librarians (TV 2014)
Rating: G
Length: 684 words
Characters/Pairings: Ezekiel Jones, Jenkins | Galahad (The Librarians)
Tags: Trust, Memories, People change, Growing up
Notes: In canon, Ezekiel spent a very long time working to get his friends out of a video game loop that had all of them trapped. He was the only one who remembered from loop to loop, but once they were out, he forgot what had happened and lost a lot of personal growth. This is my idea of what might happen if he hadn't forgotten.
Summary: Jenkins was the only one who knew that Ezekiel remembered. He had to tell someone, and he thought Jenkins would understand all of the hard parts. Ezekiel really needed someone to understand, and even better, Jenkins could warn him because Jenkins knew the road.
Not the do-over parts, of course, but Jenkins had watched and accepted the fragility of other people. Jenkins had protected and failed and gotten up to do it again. Jenkins knew the despair of not being enough. He knew those things differently than Ezekiel did, but that as more than anybody else could offer.

Title: The Future Might Still Be Orange
Fandom: Naruto
Rating: T
Length: 1773 words
Characters/Pairings: Senju Tsunade
Tags: Time Travel Fix-It, Introspection, Age and Experience, Multiple versions of characters
Notes: I love time travel fix-its, generally, but I haven't written many. As they are a tradition in Naruto fandom, I thought it was past time.
Summary: Haruno Sakura, Hatake Kakashi, and Senju Tsunade, the three of them probably make the oddest team in Konoha's history, but they cover each other's weak spots. Tsunade would never have assigned them to a mission together, but that's more because she'd never have thought to put herself on a covert op, not after she took the hat.
They weren't the only choice. They probably weren't the best choice.
Except that Naruto trusted all three of them to take care of each other. Now, it's too late for him to change his mind. Or possibly, coming at it from the other side, it's too early for him to change his mind. Ideally, he'll never realize that his opinion mattered at all.

Title: Red Light, Orange Light, Go
Fandom: Star Wars
Rating: T
Length: 580 words
Characters/Pairings: Sheev Palpatine | Darth Sidious/Mace Windu
Tags: Crack, Stalking, Courting Gifts
Notes: I couldn't make myself take the pairing as anything but humor, but I also really wanted to see how it might work. I don't generally write humor, so I was a bit unsure of how I was doing.
Summary: After, Mace could never put his finger on the moment when his life swerved into the absurd. Jedi were not supposed to have nemesises. Nemisi? Even the word was ludicrous and implied a level of inappropriate attachment.
And that was without addressing the flirtation. That part was definitely inappropriate.

Title: Orange Shifting to Red
Fandom: Weiss Kreuz
Rating: T
Length: 774 words
Characters/Pairings: Hidaka Ken, Kudoh Yohji
Tags: Time travel, Flexible morality, How the time war starts, Changing the timeline
Notes: There were two Weiss Kreuz requests in this exchange, both from the same person. I ended up writing for both. I think this is in the same universe as Carry It Past Goodbye. At least, that's my explanation for how the time travel device came into Weiss's hands. I don't think that reading that is necessary for understanding this one.
Summary: Ken watched Fujimiya Ran as he watched his sister selling flowers. Ken still hoped he wouldn't have to intervene, but he was pretty sure that that possibility had evaporated years before.
Or years later. Time travel did weird things to duration and sequence.

Title: Through an Orange Curtain
Fandom: Weiss Kreuz
Rating: G
Length: 867 words
Characters/Pairings: Tomoe Sakura, Fujimiya Aya-chan
Tags: Snowed in, Road trips, Vacation
Notes: This story is definitely part of my Visions for My Company series, but I don't think that having read the earlier stories is necessary. It might deepen the undercurrents, but it also might not.
Summary: "Are you still sure we'll have fun?" Aya asked as she looked out the window at the falling snow. "I can't see the trees across the driveway, so I don't think we're leaving any time soon." She let the faded orange curtain fall so that it once again covered the glass. "It's not much of a road trip if we're stuck."
If Aya couldn't see, Sakura certainly wouldn't be able to. She propped herself up on one elbow. "We've got at least two weeks before Crawford expects us. This is only day three. The weather will clear." That was all solidly true.
