DVD and TV Logging

I watched some of these more than a year ago (and others even longer ago). I'm very far behind on logging the things I've watched. This means that I've forgotten a lot of details about some of the movies and series.
Anastasia - I watched this with Cordelia. I'd somehow missed it before. Cordelia spent a lot of the time telling me how the stage version was better and made more sense and how they'd mangled the history. I laughed at her because she hates it when I do that (which was a reason I hadn't ever watched this with her before). She was also annoyed by the fact that some of the voice actors couldn't sing. It's still a movie that she likes a lot, and I'm glad that I've seen it now.
Ex Machina - DNF. This movie is extraordinarily creepy. The male characters were horrifying, and everything was framed in a way that made me think psychological horror. I just wanted whatever was lurking to come out and devour the humans. I had four other library DVDs out, so I didn't bother watching to the end.
47 Samurai - DNF. I got about twenty minutes into this and just didn't want to watch more.
Frozen 2 - Cordelia and I watched this on Disney+. I felt like this was a weaker story in terms of emotional impact than the first one, but it was decently good. I don't think I'm going to remember any of the songs, either.
The Good Place - We watched this as it aired. This goes on the list of sitcoms that I can watch and rewatch without cringing. I love that it was consistently kind and that it allowed the characters, all of them, to change. The show even stuck the landing.
Hilda season 1 - I read the Hilda comics before watching the show, so I recognized some of the characters and events. I found the ways that the show expanded on those elements to be charming. I also liked that things Hilda did had consequences.
How to Train Your Dragon 3: The Hidden World - Scott adores this entire series of movies, so he and Cordelia had seen it before, in the theater. I thought this was a reasonable ending to the series. I seem to recall reading reviews that were unhappy about the choice to have the humans and the dragons separate, but I thought that it made sense.
Isn't It Romantic? - It's been long enough that I'm not at all certain that I watched the entire movie. I may have, but I have zero recollection of events in the movie.
Jesus Christ Superstar (1973 movie) - Cordelia wanted to watch this because she'd heard and liked some of the songs. We watched it together, and I don't think I'd watched it before. The production was so very extremely 70s, and I wondered how many of the actors got heat/sun stroke during filming. I also have zero idea how this ended up with a G rating given that Judas's suicide is entirely on screen.
Justice League vs The Fatal Five - An animated superhero movie. The central story involves three villains trying to free two others. It's been a while, so I don't remember a lot. There may have been time travel?
Killing Eve season 1-2 - I adore the character of Eve. I've seen this archetype over and over as a male character, so it was amazing to see Eve with all of the messy humanity and cutting edges that female characters aren't usually alive. Villanelle was amazing, too, but she felt less ground breaking, except in as much that having both of these characters be women is new. I think I'd have liked season 2 better if I'd had more time to space out the episodes. I watched most of them while Scott and Cordelia were away over night.
Killjoys season 1 DVD 1-2 - I've been enjoying this. Scott wasn't much interested until after I watched the first DVD and told him that I wanted to see more. I think that part of it is that I'm enjoying trying to figure the details of the worldbuilding. I also like the characters.
Kim Possible - 4 DVD set that includes two movies and eight episodes. I was hoping, when I saw the stub record that the library put into the catalogue when they ordered it, that this would have more episodes. I've seen both So the Drama and A Sitch in Time before, but all eight episodes were new to me. I liked the episodes a great deal.
Law of Ueki episodes 17-24 - It's been long enough since I read the manga that I have forgotten a lot of the details, so I was surprised by a couple of events. I liked the manga and am less invested in the anime. I'm not sure how many episodes are left, but there's one more set of battles.
LEGO DC Batman Family Matters - This was mostly silly. Every time it looked like something grim was going to happen, it became a joke. I had fun watching it.
LEGO DC Super Heroes: Justice League: Cosmic Clash - Justice League vs Brainiac with some time meddling.
LEGO Movie 2 - I didn't like this as much as I did the first LEGO Movie, but I enjoyed it quite a bit. The story twisted expectations more than once, and the songs were catchy.
Linda Ronstadt: The Sound of My Voice - Documentary about Ronstadt's career. Includes interviews with her and with a variety of people who worked with her during her career. I hadn't been aware that Ronstadt had Parkinson's or that it had left her unable to sing.
