Our lighter weight dishes are Corelle. My concern is that I drop things a lot. I have hand tremors, proprioception issues, and thumbs that are sometimes useless. I'm pretty sure that the reason I haven't yet broken any of the Corelle is that Cordelia loads the dishwasher and puts away the clean dishes.
I kind of really need to use plastic dishes because of the dropping things, but I also use the microwave a lot and can't avoid it due to other physical issues.
