East Tawas has at least one place with internet access. It's a very pleasant coffee shop/cafe called A Different Blend. If any of you ever come up here for a visit, I recommend it.

I've been told that the McDonald's also has access and plan to try visiting the library (which is only three blocks from my grandmother's) to see if they have wireless there.

I may not be back here for a couple of days, however, as getting here requires my father's cooperation and he's very puzzled by my desire to check my e-mail, let alone do anything else online. If my back weren't currently in such bad shape, I'd be able to walk here, I think. I still might not get here often, even if I could walk without pain, because the walk would take time that I'd have to pry loose from our daily plans.

Papa, Cordelia and Grandma are currently at the beach. The parking lot for that is next to this coffee shop. Cordelia is loving the water and the chance to play with other kids. Papa and Grandma are loving the chance to spend time with Cordelia.

I'm keeping a daily log of sorts that I'll post when I'm home again, some time late on Friday or Saturday (if I'm unlucky). This is mainly a status message as I realized that I hadn't specified exactly when I'd be gone.
