Apr. 3rd, 2013 10:54 amScott has started PT. His feet and knees have been giving him a lot of trouble. He says they did x-rays of his knees and that the joints seem to be fine. He made a mistake when setting up his appointments-- He told them that he couldn't do Fridays, so they made a lot of Monday appointments for him. He can actually do Fridays and can't do Mondays (soccer practice). Fortunately, they were able to change the appointments without much fuss.
Scott's having trouble fitting in the exercises they gave him. There's no time in the morning, and there are a lot of exercises. He told me that he got through about half of them last night. He was in our room for over an hour. I don't know how much of his time he spent on the exercises. He's supposed to be doing these exercises multiple times a day. I don't think that's going to happen.
Yesterday,
cherydactyl's younger daughter came over and spent the day with Cordelia. They spent most of their time in Cordelia's room. There was a lot of giggling and shrieking, and a few times, I heard them doing voices for some sort of game.
We had plans for today with the same folks as we had over on Friday, but Cordelia's friend is still sick. She had a fever yesterday, so her mother cancelled the plans. Cordelia is frustrated and bored. I'm hoping she can keep herself amused, more or less, for the full day.
Tomorrow,
cherydactyl's daughter will be coming over again. We're inviting her to spend the night, so Thursday and Friday should be good days. How the weekend looks will depend on whether or not Scott's working. If he's not, we have errands to run. We need to get Cordelia new soccer shoes and, most likely, new everyday shoes. Her old soccer shoes are definitely too small, and her everyday shoes are falling apart (and probably getting to be too small).
