Jul. 6th, 2014 02:07 pmCordelia and I both enjoyed being home yesterday. I think I enjoyed it more than she did (not too surprisingly). I relaxed. Scott did the grocery shopping. Cordelia watched TV.
Cordelia was disappointed by dinner. We had chicken as we so often do. She's apparently tired of chicken, and she let us know fairly loudly. She ate it. She just wasn't happy about it and won't be pleased when the next two nights are chicken, too.
Scott figured out a way for us to toast marshmallows over the grill. There's a burner on one side, and we used that. I finally got a smore after two nights of watching the girls make them.
Scott and I went to sleep kind of late. I was reading a fic that I enjoyed, and he was dinking around on the computer. Next thing we knew, his computer announced that it was midnight.
Today, we don't have many plans. We need to go to the library, and Cordelia has softball practice. We ought to go visit some friends who are in state for the weekend. We want to see them, but we're having trouble getting the energy together to make the trip. They and their baby daughter are in Southfield visiting family. They live in the DC area, so we haven't seen them in quite a while.
