Instead of watching one of our waiting DVDs, Scott put in Captain America: The Winter Soldier yesterday and watched that. I probably should have said something. We had time after it was over when we could have watched something, and we didn't. One of the DVDs we have is a library DVD and is due back next Sunday, so we'll probably watch that before the Netflix DVD which can be returned any time. I also have two DVDs (one from the library and one from Netflix that I've had since September) to watch on my own.

We went to the library a little before 1:00. It was a bit strange not to need to wear boots, but though there's still snow in places, the sidewalks are completely clear and dry. I paid for the missing CD. I could have kept renewing it and hoped it would turn up, but I honestly don't expect it to turn up, and it was less than $20. I had three CDs, two DVDs, and a book on CD (for Scott) waiting for me to pick up.

Cordelia has finished watching season one of Agents of SHIELD. Unfortunately, we can't find anywhere where she can watch the first half of season two for free. I hesitate to have her start watching current episodes with us without seeing what comes between, but I don't want her to fall further behind.

Cordelia has stopped turning on the living room light while she's getting ready for school in the mornings. This is an improvement for me as the light shines right through our doorway to hit me in the face when it's on. I'm not sure why the change. I suspect it may be something Scott suggested because I think it started after his day off last week.

I only wrote a couple of sentences yesterday, but I did talk over some plot points with a friend. I don't know if her suggestions will work, but they give me a direction to try. I'm still feeling for the eventual shape of this story by discovering what the characters will do if I let them go where they want to. I've already been surprised a few times.

Scott grilled turkey burgers for our dinner last night. It's a sign that spring really has arrived (though we might still get more cold weather and snow. March in Michigan is like that). I think it was in the 40s yesterday. I wouldn't have wanted to be outside, grilling, but Scott didn't seem to mind. We have enough leftover turkey burgers to feed us for dinner tonight if we can't get the coupon for the PTO fundraiser at Olga's (it's a Google doc and is currently access locked. I'll try it again later today. I'd email to tell them that it's locked, but I have no idea who to email). Last week, for the California Pizza Kitchen fundraiser, they sent home a paper coupon, so I'm hoping they'll do that again.

I need to call my doctor's office. I have a health concern, and I don't know if it can wait until I see her on the 30th or if I need to try to see her sooner. She might not have any openings sooner. I'll call in about half an hour, after I have breakfast.
