Feb. 26th, 2016 12:40 pmI slept on the loveseat last night and got more sleep than I had recently. It wasn’t a lot, but it was much better than either of the previous two nights. I woke up a lot, and I really needed a blanket under me because there was a draft coming up through the leg rest. I also found out that the loveseat is not properly counterbalanced for a recliner. Whenever I tried to get up, I had to be very, very careful because the loveseat was prone to tipping over. That’s pretty scary when one’s half awake.
Scott played with his new pressure cooker last night, just a test run, no food involved. When he released the pressure, it was unexpectedly loud. Both of us jumped.
Cordelia mostly stayed in her room yesterday. I think she was kind of bored.
For reasons that escape me, the cleaning lady decided to scrub out the inside of the dishwasher yesterday. I don’t think she’s ever done that before, and I certainly never asked her to do it. It’s possible that it needed to be done, but it’s not something that would have occurred to me to do.
Right now, I’m debating watching a library DVD that can’t be renewed versus trying to nap. On the downside of napping, I’ve been drinking lots and lots of water in an effort to keep my sinuses moving. On the other hand, I’m exhausted, and I’m likely to have better luck napping now rather than after Cordelia gets off from school.
