I think we’re going to have to do our library trip today. Scott’s parents want us up there as close to noon tomorrow as we can manage, and that leaves no time for a trip to the library since that doesn’t open until noon. This means that I really, really want to try to watch some of my library DVDs so that I can return them. Everything except Deadpool can be renewed (or could be the last I checked), but I feel like I’m stacking up things that I should get to and never will. I may give up on the Miss Marple set because the second movie in the series has me seriously bogged down in the watch two minutes and pause for twelve hours sort of way because I’m embarrassed for the main character (not Miss Marple, someone else) and just can’t deal. Sadly, it was this movie that I got the set to watch, so I’m disappointed.

I’m a little annoyed with the Ingress program right now. There’s some sort of glitch in how it counts things at the moment. There’s a portal that I’ve owned for two weeks now (I keep checking back, and I still own it, so it’s not that someone took it from me and I didn’t notice), but Ingress stopped counting the days I’ve owned it at twelve days even though it’s definitely been fourteen. I was really hoping that I’d get to twenty days and the next level badge for holding a portal. The portal in question is off the beaten path and not near any other portal or busy street, so it seemed possible. The closest I’ve gotten before was eighteen days, and that was a fluke because that portal was on a busy street.

Yesterday’s migraine started to come back around 10:00 last night, so I took an Amerge and headed for bed. I was up and down more than I usually am, but I feel fairly well rested, so there’s that.

I’ve got a moderate to do list for today. I think I’m going to try to get Scott out to the library before noon. I’ve got a writing thing online at noon that I would very much like to be here for as I pretty desperately need to write. Also, we still haven’t gone for bubble tea for my birthday, and that’s cheaper between 11:00 and 1:00.

All of Cordelia’s unexcused absences have been changed to MED, meaning medical and excused. I don’t know that the ones that were for making up standardized tests ought to be labeled that way, but I suppose they don’t have a specific code for that. Well, I really don’t think those ought to count as absences at all since she was at school and accounted for, but… I don’t really have the resources to try to fight that battle.

I’m trying to charge my phone, and it’s charging really, really slowly. In an hour and a half, it’s gone from 22% to 46%, and I’d have expected it to be more than twice that far along. As far as I can tell, there isn’t anything energy intensive active, so I don’t know.

I’m not sure when Scott and I are going to finish Deadpool. We don’t want to watch it while Cordelia’s in the room, and it’s due Tuesday. Cordelia’s going to be home at all the times we might watch it. She might stay in her room; she might not. I suppose it won’t hurt if she sees a little bit of it. I’m pretty sure that it won’t take much for her to decide that she doesn’t want to watch it with us.

Hm. I kind of want to go back to bed now. I think I’d better get moving on my to do list before I fall asleep again.
