Aug. 3rd, 2016 10:09 amDamn. I forgot to take my thyroid medication at 5:00 this morning. I turned off my alarm, got up and used the toilet, and went back to bed. I didn’t realize that I hadn’t taken the pill until the middle of breakfast. Now I have to wait two hours and then wait an hour after that to take the Ativan that I’ll need for dealing with the museum. I’ll have to remember not to take my multivitamin with lunch since I’m supposed to wait four hours after the levothyroxine for anything containing calcium and/or iron.
Scott and Cordelia are packing. I’m doing a little and then resting (and writing here). I’m kind of headachy. I don’t know if it’s anxiety or the thyroid medication or something else altogether. We still need to make our lunches before we pack that part of the food. Our cold packs aren’t usable at this point because the mini-fridge doesn’t really have a freezer, but there’s an ice machine down the hall.
Cordelia decided she wasn’t interested in swimming today. That surprised me.
The main thing left, besides the food, is various charging cords and electronic devices. We very much don’t want to forget those. My guess is that Scott will start moving things to the basement very soon now. The suitcases kind of need to go in first.
I know what I should do— Scott never washed the bowl after he finished my soup Monday evening. Washing that would be good. He may just figure that we’re going to wash the bowls at home anyway. I don’t know. We’ve still got three hours before the drop dead check out time. An hour and a half before I can take my levothyroxine…
