I ought to make more bacon wrapped dates, but Scott wants the oven for making pie. I made 29 bacon wrapped dates last night, but I need at least twice that for the size of the gathering tomorrow. I need to cube the cheese for the cheese spread I'll make tomorrow, too. That's the time consuming bit of making it, and storing cubed cheese isn't harder than storing a block of it.

We've got The Muppet Christmas Carol on right now. We had some family arguments about what movies are necessary for Christmas. Cordelia doesn't believe me that Die Hard would work. Scott suggested Godzilla, but we don't own any, so... Cordelia also vetoed the Kung Fu Panda Christmas DVD.

Yesterday, Scott and I also made fudge. I'm not sure what all else we actually accomplished because I got to evening and hadn't checked anything else off my to-do list. I think I read some fics. I must have done something apart from feeling terrible.

My sinuses are still fine, but I'm over all achy with my hands and left elbow both hurting a lot. I had nausea most of the day until I took Ativan and my migraine medication (Amerge). I spent a lot of the day sitting with an electric heating pad on my shoulders and neck, and that decreased the nausea, too, which was what made me think it was an anxiety thing with migraine components. I get migraines with the headache component only just noticeable on my pain scale but with major nausea. Amerge will help with that, so I need to pay attention. Nausea isn't something I get all that often without having a migraine, and when I do, it usually comes with a fever, etc.

The options for bacon wrapped dates are a little frustrating. We have the choice between bacon that's cut wider than even a big date and bacon that's not as wide as a small date. There will be seventeen of us at the gathering. Two of those folks will only eat the dates with turkey bacon, but I usually make 50-60 of the things for thirteen people.

Also, dates were on sale yesterday (after Scott told me that they never, ever go on sale), so Scott bought a ton of them. I love them plain, so they'll get eaten. Half a dozen make a meal. Not a dreadfully well balanced meal but still one that doesn't require cooking or bending or anything much.

Why can't I figure out how to turn off autocorrect for my email subject line? The program doesn't autocorrect anything else in a message, but it will invariably alter that line.
