(no subject)
Dec. 31st, 2017 04:40 pmI'm tracking my word count today very meticulously because I started the day about 4500 words short of 200K words for the year. I don't think that I'll actually get there (and I'm not willing to wreck myself by running flat out for that goal), but why not keep track? The being meticulous part today is mostly because I'm editing rather than writing something new. That means 40 words here, 120 there, etc., and moving forward slowly.
The story I'm editing won't be postable until some time later this week, so I'm not feeling terribly urgent about it. It's just the thing that's currently got my attention and that has some very helpful beta comments to focus me on the bits that need alteration.
We've been debating what to do for dinner, and Scott's leaning toward carryout of some sort. I should probably look around to see what the options are because it's late enough that I need to think about eating dinner soon. Also, I'm not sure when various places will close
I'm kind of meh on the subject of making resolutions. It's simply so hard to predict how the next year will be on a personal health and family level that it seems unwise. There are things I want to do and things I really need to do, but I'm not sure which of them are sufficiently within my ability to make and keep goals.
