Feb. 17th, 2018 04:16 pmWe're at Scott's parents' place right now. We had lunch with apple pie to celebrate Scott's birthday. His birthday is next Saturday, but his parents are heading for Florida the day after, so this weekend was better.
I'm kind of eager to head home, but some folks are playing a board game. I don't want to take that from Scott.
I'm not sure what dinner will look like tonight because we'll be on our way home during my window for food. Most fast food is a bad choice for me any time after 2 p.m.
Yesterday, after my appointment, I took the bus into town. I got off near State St and walked two blocks to Totoro for lunch. They were quite busy.
Getting to the bus home involved walking about three blocks, and I gave myself more than fifteen minutes for it. I only waited about five minutes, but the wind was vicious.
I wrote 2800 words yesterday. Unfortunately, not a one was for the project with a deadline. I'm debating signing up for Smutswap, but I might end up writing more for it if I don't sign up than if I do. I'm not sure if getting a story is important to me. Of course, the odds are good that no one else will request what I nominated.
