Mar. 11th, 2018 01:46 pmYesterday's hoped for write-in didn't happen due to car trouble for one person and illness for another. Since the plan was three of us at my dining room table, that just left me and a lot of snacks I wasn't really interested in just then.
I did 200 words on my WBEx story and a few thousand on the fic that's eating my brain. I will be astonished if that story comes in under 25K words. It'll need a lot of clean up and some research, but I'm holding off on that until I have the full shape of it. Also I'd prefer to have this beta read by a particular person who won't be able to for quite a while.
I'm trying to figure out how to put a floor plan into the story because there's a part of that that's crucial.
My right index finger is still hurting, but I slept better last night than I did Friday into Saturday and woke without a headache.
We're on our way to a gathering for our nephew's 19th birthday. I'm not sure if there'll be food I can eat given my changed schedule, so we stopped at a Burger King on the way up. Cordelia got coffee. I got a fish sandwich.
