I've had a pain in a very specific point in my upper back for the last few days. Monday, I managed to locate the sock with three tennis balls in it that I've had for years but seldom used because I can't get leverage for the sort of pressure I need. It turns out that the upper back is a perfect location for using those because I can stand with my back against the wall and use my legs to press back as hard as possible. I've never managed to make the dratted things do much for other parts of my body.

It helps. I'll end up being able to move freely for a while before things knot up again. For a while, on Sunday, that bit was hurting enough that I didn't notice my elbow or my shoulder or my hands aching. I'm feeling all of those again now.

Having more things that hurt but that all hurt a bit less is helpful for being able to think but actually a lot worse in terms of being able to handle household chores.

Cordelia had four friends over for about six hours yesterday afternoon/evening, so I spent most of that time in our bedroom, pretending that I couldn't hear what they were talking about. I'm almost certain that they forgot that I was here most of the time.

If I can write 4K words by the end of the month, I'll hit 50K for March. It's entirely possible that I'll manage it. I'm not going to stress about it, but it might happen.
