Scott and I stayed up a bit past 11 last night because we were watching the election returns. I think we both knew we weren't likely to sleep much.

Cordelia and I ordered pizza from Cottage Inn for lunch yesterday. Hers turned out not to be what she ordered. She requested no sauce, and they managed that part. They just also didn't give her cheese, so she had broccoli and mushrooms on a large, crispy cracker. She was eating in her room, with a dim light on, so it took her three slices (out of six) to process that the pizza really didn't taste right.

I called and got a replacement for free. It's just... leaving off the cheese seems like a huge mistake, a bigger mistake than if they'd put sauce on when she said not to or put cheese on when she said not to. Having cheese and sauce is the default for pizza.

I wrote 14365 words in October. In November, so far, I've written 10036. Most of that is stuff that doesn't help with my deadlines, but at least I'm writing.

I think I need another 3K to 4K words for the UCon game. I might be a bit off on that, but if I am, I think my estimate will be high. I'm debating the exact schedule of things I need to get done today and tomorrow. There's the game related stuff, of course, but I also need to do laundry, pack, and make a trip to the grocery store. If I can get to the library, too, that would be wonderful.

Right now, my plan for the morning is:

Shower
Run Cordelia's laundry
Work on Friday's game while watching a library movie
Run the dishwasher
Work more on the game while watching a different library movie
Cook a little
Complete my shopping list
Either go to the library or go for convention related groceries. If the latter, I will aim for a point when Scott could pick me up after work and have him pick up some cash on the way. If the former, I will deal with some things at the UM Credit Union.

My plan for tomorrow is:
Run our laundry
Dig out the suitcases
Pack
Work on Friday's game (if still needed) interstitially
Do the prep work for Saturday's game (that's a board game, so I mainly need to drill myself on the rules variants)
Print everything for Friday game
Shop for groceries if I haven't already

Friday plan:
Get up at 5:30 with Cordelia
Pack a lunch
Load the car at 7:15, after she leaves
Get to the convention and pick up con registration stuff by 8:30
Run game 9:00-1:00
Check into our room at 3:00
Send Scott to pick Cordelia up if she decides she wants to join us
Play something after dumping our stuff in the room
