Jan. 15th, 2019 09:04 pmI really want to get things out of the study. We move furniture in there every year to make room for the Christmas tree in the living room, and I can't move any of it back, not safely. We've shoved more in there as a result of moving things to fit the new fridge. There's a freestanding cabinet with a top at work surface level that we want to keep, but it's awkward in the study with the stuff from the living room the bins of computer stuff that Scott needs to sort, the exercise bike, and the desk/filing cabinet.
I want to get at the bottom two shelves of the bookcase that's wedged in the back corner. There's a book I think I own that Cordelia might find useful, but I can't see titles at the distance I have to stand. The bottom shelves are in shadow, and I can only barely read some of the titles at eye level because I can't get closer in than five feet without moving things.
I'm trying to pull together information about what I need for the home upkeep projects that are actually more or less within my ability. We need to refinish the dining room table. I've texted my mother to ask what we used the first time because that held up to hard use for 25 years. Using the same stuff again makes sense, but I really can't remember what it was.
