Guardians of the Galaxy - This was okay. I didn't love it. I didn't hate it. I left while it was playing to go change over the laundry and felt no need to ask Scott and Cordelia to pause the movie. I think all I missed was some explosions. I think I have trouble with movies in that I don't necessarily get movie characters as more than plot devices. I don't see the implied backstory and characterization as depth to the story. In this case, I don't really feel like any of the characters were people.

Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa - Cordelia only watched about half of this, but I'm pretty sure she'd seen the second half before (I know I have, and I don't think I'd watch it without Cordelia).

Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted - Cordelia watched all of this one. I don't think either of us had seen most of it before (it was the movie at a hockey night a couple of years ago. I saw a couple of scenes; Cordelia may have seen more). The whole thing was pretty silly, at least what I followed of it. I'd have expected the animals to realize sooner that they didn't really want to go back where they came from.

Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries season 2 - I don't think I liked this as well as season 1. I certainly had more anxiety trouble in getting through it. I was particularly disappointed in the last episode because the murderer's motivations weren't really clear to me.

Planes: Fire and Rescue - This is a rarity-- We got it from the library. Usually the waitlist for newish movies is too long for us get movies that way. I liked seeing the main character dealing with a disability and kind of wished that he hadn't been magically healed at the end. I kind of wanted to see him learning to live with the limitation.

Tiny Toons DVD 1-2 - Cordelia gave up on this show after two DVDs. I think she simply didn't find it funny. This makes me wonder how she'll feel about the classic Looney Tunes stuff that's in her Netflix queue (There's an awful lot of it, too; at least half of her queue is Looney Tunes stuff). I'm not sure of my opinion of these DVDs. I only kind of half watched because it's not the sort of thing that appeals to me.

Wayside the Movie - Neither Cordelia nor I have ever read the books this is based on, so we can't say how faithful an adaptation it is. I found the whole thing rather frustrating because nobody really listened to anyone else. The level of general wackiness also didn't suit me. Cordelia seemed to enjoy it. At any rate, she didn't pause the DVD or wander away while it was playing.

X-Men: Days of Future Past - My main take away from this movie was the 1973 Magneto was an idiot. He kept doing things that he obviously hadn't thought all the way through. I never fully connected with 1973 characters. I didn't feel the urgency I think I was supposed to feel. Even cutting back to the characters in the future didn't help that. I don't think this was a bad movie. It just didn't do much for me.
