I need to try to corral Scott and Cordelia tonight so that we can watch that library DVD that we've had for two weeks and which is due Friday (and can't be renewed). It's The Book of Life which I have heard is just okay, so I suppose it's not a big deal if we don't get around to it, but-- We've had weeks.
I think I'm going to watch my Netflix DVD while I link find today. It's anime, but the dub isn't truly awful, so I can watch that. I wish I could watch the other Netflix DVD instead because I really need to do that and send it back, but that's subtitled only, so I can't link find while I watch it.
Scott was scheduled to go in at 3 a.m. today. When he called in to find out if they needed him, no one answered, so he went in. They didn't need him. They didn't even know he was signed up. So he drove home and got another hour of sleep (as opposed to the three he could have gotten if they'd answered the damned phone).
I think half of our clothes are still in the basement from laundry day on Sunday. I'm going to have to ask Cordelia to bring them up so that I have socks for tomorrow. I found only one complete pair (and four singletons) today.
Our dehumidifier was leaking, so Scott turned it off until he can take it apart to see if he can fix it. His theory is that it needs cleaning. I'm wondering if it hasn't simply had it-- The thing is years older than Cordelia. At any rate, I can notice a difference in how the house feels. The thermostat says it's no warmer than it was, but I feel stickier and generally less happy.
I have a book from the library that I'm not sure what to do with. It's a mystery that I was interested in and put a hold on. What I failed to notice was that the library doesn't own the dratted thing in paper, only on CD. I don't generally do books on CD because of the time involved. I'm not sure I want to dedicate nine hours to listening to this book. Chances are I would end up trying to read something else at the same time it was going and end up following neither story.
