If you do, let me know if you want any tips on securing/privacy, etc. Also, while they ask you to use your real name and birthday, I know people who've lied about it - the worst they can do is shut down your account, and they'll usually try to force you to your real name first. (Using a name that sounds like it could be real works better, the obviously fake ones are likely to get reported and deleted.)
Some of my friends use it but don't post - they just use it to read things that are there. (I post copiously...*wry*)
