Oh, and I don't actually own any dresses that will work with layers under them unless those layers are skin tight. My dresses are all fairly close fitting cotton knit things. I could wear these shirts over one of those dresses, maybe, but definitely not under, not without it being very, very obvious that the shirt was there.
I have the advantage, in terms of shirts, that I don't need to look for anything that looks dressy/formal. If I wear a ratty t-shirt, there's only Scott and Cordelia to see, and I can still generally find t-shirts that aren't completely flimsy. Long sleeved shirts are a bit harder, but I have a catalog that has some things that might work. I like the cotton knit pants I've gotten from that company, so I have some hopes for the shirts.
