RE: the Nightvale novel - I've downloaded the audiobook, which is read by the actual podcast cast. I suspect that might be a better way to experience it, based on what I've seen people say who've read it/heard it. I haven't listened to it yet, but I went for the audiobook because most people I'd seen who read the paper book struggled, versus people who listened to it generally found it easier to get into.
