When I saw the nine volumes of Samurai Deeper Kyo, I remembered having seen other people say good things about it. I might have tried it anyway given what a long run it was and how little it cost, but I don't know.
I read God Stalk back in the 1980s, and I grabbed The Dark of the Moon as soon as I could. It's just that it made less of an impression than God Stalk did. I sought out the short stories as soon as I heard they existed.
I used to read a lot of Hikaru no Go fanfic, even without having read or watched the complete series. I'm not actually sure why I stopped going forward with it. The library had all of what was out at the time (I have no idea if they still have a complete run. They generally don't replace missing volumes).
