I particularly like Wells' Ile-Rien books, but some of that is probably that I read them more recently than her other stuff which has kind of blurred into a general yeah-I-liked-that blob without me actually remembering any details.
I can see how that might happen with finding out more about authors. It bites me occasionally (I just tried a fantasy author's blog and found her complaining about SJW and forced diversity. I deleted that from my feed before I could get more ticked off with her). I think Ursula Vernon has been the author I'm happiest following. I also follow a couple of authors whose blogs I enjoy but whose books I haven't had much luck reading (specifically Jim Hines and John Scalzi).
