We have decided not to go to the family gathering. Scott is pretty wobbly, and I don’t think he should drive. His family was sorry not to see us but admitted that they really would prefer that Scott’s germs stay home. I’m not entirely sure this is a cold that he has because, from what he says, he’s been having chills off and on. I really, really wish he had some sick time left.
evalerie will be available later on to take me on one errand. Well, she’d be happy to take me on both of the ones I’d like to do, but I don’t see timing working out. She’s not available until 5:30, and both the pharmacy and the library close at 6:00. They’re far enough apart that I don’t think we’re likely to manage both.
I’m debating which errand I should put first. I’m completely out of Amerge, but I usually only use it once or twice a month. On the other hand, I used it twice last week. If I need it, I will really need it, but Kroger will hold it another few days. Three of my six library holds will expire when the library closes tonight. None of those three have waitlists, but I dislike having things pulled and reshelved and then pulled again. It just seems rude to the library staff.
