I have the impression that the clear expectations part of the program is helpful for a lot of kids.
According to Northside's principal, the state mandated that the program start back in 2006, but the Ann Arbor schools being the Ann Arbor schools delayed implementation until they got into trouble.
The program has been good for Delia because, for the first time, she's getting attention for doing what she's supposed to do instead of seeing all the attention going to the kids who are misbehaving. I can't speak to how it's working for other kids.
