When I started this, I set out to write something dark because I find that cathartic. Then it grew.
I'm pleased to hear that the implications around the edges work. There was a lot I didn't want to look at directly in the story because I thought it would be a distraction if I detailed those parts. There are also all of the bits that Jadis is deliberately trying not to look at.
