It sort of does. Sending myself copies of the messages is so that I'll have them on my laptop and not just when I'm logged into DreamWidth. What I want is an offline archive with the information about who I sent the message to. I can copy and paste, I suppose, or forward the messages to myself, from my email, with the recipient information added. I just don't think I should have to.
It's not as if it's information that's private from me.
