Remington Steele is wonderfully silly. I do recommend it. Of course, disliking Pierce Brosnan would make watching it a lot harder. It is a role that alternates between competence and incompetence if that will help. The character comes across as mostly surface. Of course, part of my pleasure in rewatching is remembering that this was the first prime time show that I watched regularly and with my parents.
