I suspect that I've got some as yet undiagnosed issues. The tendency I've encountered is for doctors simply to assume that everything they're not sure about is part of the fibromyalgia.
I have asthma, allergies, various different types of headaches, GERD, IBS, FMS, generalized anxiety, agoraphobia (and a few other phobias), tremor, recurring tendonitis (ten minutes of doing the wrong thing can mean weeks of recovery time). The last two have no diagnosed cause, but every single one seems to feed the others. I haven't found any doctor who has the slightest clue about most of the interactions (asthma and GERD as a pair have been well researched).
I like your notion of a complex diagnosis. It sort of sums everything up.
